Coronavirus advise for parents

If your child or anyone in your household has one of the symptoms of coronavirus the whole household needs to self-isolate while you get a COVID test.

The main symptoms of coronavirus from the NHS are:

  • a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
  • a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

How to get a test:

To get a test please go to the link below or ring 119.

New tests are released at 10am and 8pm. At times, tests are difficult to get but you must persevere as getting a test is now vitally important.

Please keep the school informed as usual
